What We Do

The New York Association of Christian Schools is a state-wide association of fundamental, unregistered church schools, that exists:

To Protect our Christian Schools including the right to exist and operate apart from state or local interference;

To Promote Christian Education; and

To Provide Christian Services and activities to help Christian schools with the great task of “training our children in the way they should go.”

These purposes are fulfilled by giving counsel to churches seeking to organize a Christian school, hosting an annual Christian Educators’ Conference, sponsoring state competitions amongst our schools and responding to calls for help with difficulties.

Rev. Tom Stiles serves as our Executive Director, and Dr. Roger Ellison serves as our President. He also serves on the NYS Commissioner of Education’s Non-public School Advisory Committee.
